Bazý insanlarýn etkisi, kendilerinden uzun yaþar. Bediüzzaman Said Nursi onlardan biri. Bitlis’in ücra bir dað köyünde baþlayan yaþamýnda, 19. yüzyýlý 20.yüzyýla baðlayan sancýlý bir yolun yolcusu oldu… Osmanlý’nýn yerini Cumhuriyet’e devrine ve iki dünya harbine tanýklýk etti. Ýsyanlar, savaþlar, sürgünler, mahkemeler, esaretler gördü. Koþulsuz biat edenleri ve peþinen reddedenleri oldu.
